The Xenia Community Schools Foundation (XCSF) is seeking a first round of applications for classroom grants for next school year. Applications submitted through May 31, 2015, will be reviewed by the Grants Committee in early June. Applicants will be given notice of the XCSF Board of Directors’ decisions by June 30, 2015.
The OSU Extension Office in Greene County will be offering plat books. This full color book will be available for three years. We are looking for members and organizations to sponsor this by advertising in this updated edition. The Women In Business Luncheon will host a Friendship Day celebration for its fourth anniversary on May 7 with a special invitation for attendees. Please bring a colleague to the Luncheon, especially someone who has never attended or who hasn't attended in a long time.
The Annual Legislative Breakfast which will be held on May 1st at the Greene County Career Center this year. Thanks to the generosity of the Greene County Career Center a free breakfast will be available at no charge again this year. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 AM and the program will start at 8:00. Congressman Mike Turner, State Senator Chris Widener, and Representative Bob Hackett have confirmed to be there to give you a brief update on their legislative agendas and then you will have an opportunity to ask questions.
