XENIA, OH
– Greene County Public Health officials announced that the 2nd annual Greene County Resource Fair will be held on Saturday, June 16 from 11:00am – 4:00pm at the Xenia YMCA located at 135 E. Church Street in Xenia.

This year’s event will include organizations such as DP&L Lighting Program, Bridges of Hope, CareSource, Greene County Council on Aging, Family of Addicts (FOA), Kettering Health Network, Equitas Health, Community Action Partnership, Mommy Xpress, Greene County Libraries, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, Medicare Resource Center, and many more. A free yoga session from 12:00-1:00pm, acoustic music from 1:00-2:00pm, and story time with a local fire fighter from 2:15-2:45pm, are all new additions to make it a true family affair. In addition, fun “swag bags” will be available to the first 100 guests, along with one large, family friendly door prize (~$300 value) for one lucky winner who attends the event.

According to Jessica Warner, Health Educator at Greene County Public Health and event coordinator, “This year’s event will be bigger and better than last year with close to 35 organizations participating, a kid’s craft table, a photo booth with fun props, music, and story time. There really is something for everyone in the family to enjoy.”
