Self-Insured
For those entities that meet the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation guidelines and that can bear the risk financially, self-insurance can be the most cost effective way to provide the state mandated coverage.

As your Third Party Administrator for Ohio Workers’ Compensation, Hunter Consulting strives to provide the best designed and managed program available that will reduce your claims and premiums while protecting both your business and your employees.

Unemployment
Unemployment Insurance provides cash benefits to workers who become unemployed through no fault of their own. These benefits are paid to the employee by the state agency and are charged back to the worker’s base period employers.

Group Rating Programs
A Group Experience Program allows employers to be pooled together through a sponsoring organization and receive an overall rate reduction. Employers are placed in groups with other employers of like industry and claims history to receive discounts on their premiums up to the maximum allowed by the Ohio BWC.
