New Registration Link Helps Residents Register, Schedule Appointments for COVID-19 Vaccine

During a press briefing , March 8th, Governor Mike DeWine announced the availability of a new website for residents to register and schedule appointments online to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations across the state. Officials at Greene County Public Health have shared this new link on the agency’s website and social media platforms.

Greene County residents can use this online tool to determine if they are eligible to receive the vaccine, schedule appointments, and receive updates and reminders. Greene County Public Health officials have worked directly with ODH to integrate their current system into the statewide system and has been working through current their waitlist to integrate these commitments into the centralized system.

Governor DeWine stated in a previous press release from his office that "Our goal is for Ohioans to have a positive customer experience when we launch the site to make appointments." Our agency is pleased that this new site is now live online, and residents will find registering and scheduling appointments much easier to navigate themselves rather than calling to see where and when they can be vaccinated.

Outside partners, including the Area Agencies on Aging, will be available to help Ohioans who do not have access to the internet with appointment scheduling.
