Charles Young Buffalo Soldiers National Monument Day of Service January 18, 2021

Take time to honor the legacy and spirit of one of America’s iconic Civil Rights heroes, Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr, and join us at Charles Young Buffalo Soldiers National Monument as we prepare informational
packets with education materials for school children.

The packets will be distributed to participating schools for Black History Month. Volunteers are needed to
accomplish this meaningful and important task, so we ask you to participate and to spread the word.

Proper social distancing and appropriate COVID-19 safety measures will be rigorously followed and we ask
that all volunteers respect this request for the safety of all involved on this day of service.
