Xenia Community Schools Foundation Transitions 2020 Hall of Honor and Silent Auction

The Twenty-Second Annual XCSF Hall of Honor Dinner and Induction Ceremony and Silent Auction, rescheduled for August 29, 2020, will not take place as an in-person dinner and induction ceremony. This change was necessitated by the current restrictions on indoor group events. Induction of the Class of 2020 will officially be August 29, 2020, and inductees will be honored with their plaques, awards and proclamations.

The Sixth Annual Silent Auction for Grants will be completely online and extend from August 14, 2020 – August 29, 2020. The online auction will be accessible as of August 14, 2020, at: www.32auctions.com/XCSF. Call: (937) 372-3591 and leave a message or email: This email address is being protected from spambots. The Xenia Community Schools Foundation has awarded over $24,000.00 in grants for the 2020-2021 school year.

The Xenia Community Schools Foundation will honor the accomplishments of the 2020 Hall of Honor inductees:

Fred William (Ted) Forbes, XHS Class of 1954, Architect, Engineer, Civil Servant, Community Leader;

The XCSF Board of Directors met on July 28, 2020 and decided to cancel the Hall of Honor Dinner and Induction Ceremony, along with the Silent Auction, as originally configured and re-scheduled from April to Saturday, August 29, 2020. The Board considered a number of factors in coming to this decision. Members reviewed the current restrictions on group events, travel and potential school building use limits, along with the health and safety of all of the attendees. All sponsors and patrons, along with donors over the past year will be recognized in the program that is being produced for the restructured induction.

The Board of Directors of the Xenia Community Schools Foundation thanks the members of the community for their support and understanding.
