Community Calendar

Beginning Genealogy for ages 18+ will be held at Xenia Community Library on Sat., May 19, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. This class for beginning and intermediate genealogical researchers will teach you how to use research forms, court records, vital statistics, census records, cemetery records, and much more. Instructor is Diana Nelson. Class materials will be provided and it will be held in the first-floor meeting room of the Xenia Community Library. Lunch is on your own. If you bring a sack lunch, you will have the opportunity to ask questions. The class is co-sponsored by the Greene County Room—Local History and Genealogy and the Greene County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society. Registration required. Call 352-4000.
