What's Buggin U?: Greene County Parks & Trails host camp focusing on creepy, crawlies
Join Greene County Parks & Trails for its "What's Buggin' U?" Camp from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday, July 17, to Friday, July 21, at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Rd., Beavercreek.
Participants between the ages of seven and 12 will enjoy a hands-on adventure exploring for local beetles, butterflies, ants and other insect adaptations, such as camouflaged caterpillars to moths that resemble owls to twigs that have legs and can walk away. Campers will learn about the many benefit of insects in the natural world.
Cost for the program is $90, Greene County resident; $100, non-resident. Participants must preregister before July 11.
