Greene County Parks & Trails - Project Feeder Watch

Greene County Parks & Trails teams up with Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology in Project Feeder Watch

Participate in a research project with Greene County Parks & Trails as well as the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology in Project Feeder Watch this season from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan.6, at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Rd. Xenia.

The naturalist staff and participants will be monitoring types and numbers of birds staying in Greene County during the winter months.  GCP&T naturalist staff will assist with identification; participants do not have to be an “expert” birder.

Participants (age six and older)  will learn how bird populations can illustrate climate and habitat changes.  Binoculars are recommended but not required.

The event is free; donations always accepted.
