STAINED GLASS/SLOW ROLL TOUR scheduled for Monday evening, July 17th at 5:45 p.m.
Starting point: Xenia Station (150 S. Miami Avenue) to the Payne Theological Seminary at (1230 Wilberforce-Clifton Road) to learn from area Scholar and Theologian Dr. Charles Brown. Dr. Brown will bring to life the story of the historic stained glass window series within the Trinity chapel at Payne Theological Seminary and its significance and relevance to today.
NEXT, slow roll back to the Xenia Carnegie Library (194 E. Church Street) to learn about local efforts to restore this Xenia landmark with its beautiful stained glass rotunda.
Have fun and learn about two amazing, iconic places with rarely-seen or understood Stained Glass features!
Architecture/stained glass not your thing? Fear not! Just come for the fresh air, comaraderie, and ICE-CREAM provided for the JULY SLOW ROLL by Youngs Jersey Dairy!
Finish up: approximately 8:30 p.m. back at Xenia Station--a quick ride from the Xenia Carnegie Library.
Helmets are strongly encouraged for all participants.
