Learn to canoe and head down the Little Miami State and National Scenic River in GCP&T summer camp

Learn to canoe and then celebrate with a down river canoe float on the Little Miami State and National Scenic River at Greene County Parks & Trails’ (GCP&T) Canoeing and Creekin’ Summer Camp, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday, July 17, to Friday, July 21, at Spring Lakes Park, 2191 Ferry Road, Bellbrook.

Participants between the ages of nine and 15 will spend the afternoon creekin’ at the park as they explore the water habitat.

On Friday, campers will enjoy a down river canoe float to end the week.  Campers will need to provide swimsuits, beach towel and water shoes.

The camp is partially funded through a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Watercraft.

Cost for the weeklong camp is $110, Greene County resident; $120, non-resident. Participants need to register by Friday, July 7.
