Greetings!
Central State University is inviting you to our first Land-Grant Community Day on April 7, 2017. Since receiving the federal designation on February 13, 2014, we have been working to develop programs and services that will foster the mission and vision of the designation as well as, designing initiatives of service to Ohio counties.
The Land Grant Community Day will feature several panel presentations highlighting the history of land grant Institutions, current land grant philosophies and purposes and the impact of land grant institutions have in improving the quality of life for communities, farmers and students. Additionally, we will host vendors and health care professionals who will provide free initial screenings and information regarding health care, nutrition and organic food growth and consumption. There will also be opportunities for you to view some of the research projects that are being conducted by faculty and students.
There is no financial cost for attending the Land-Grant Community Day, but in order to adequately plan for your participation, we ask that you click the link below to register by March 17, 2017. Lunch options and parking information are noted on the registration form.
