Historic Barn Painting Celebration

Where:  595 Clifton Road, Xenia, Ohio
Date:  Friday, September 28, 2018
Time:  2:00 p.m.

Please join the Greene County Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Ohio History Connection as we reveal a project called Ohio History Barns.  These colorful barns honor Ohioans, Ohio accomplishments, Ohio inventions, Ohio symbols, and important Ohio places.

In Greene County, near Old Town, a painting is being done to honor Tecumseh who was born there (as tradition has it) 250 years ago this year.  Scott Hagan, who painted the Ohio Bicentennial Barns is the painter for this project.

Mr. Hagan will start the painting on Monday, September 24th to be completed by mid-week.  Our celebration with the barn owners, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Ferguson, will be held on Friday, September 28th at 2:00 p.m. We hope that you will be our guest for this celebration!
