Tomato Tasters & Salsa Makers Wanted
Amateur chefs are invited to bring their best salsa to Wicklines, 1625 N Detroit ST, Xenia, by 10:30 AM on September 2nd. Judging begins at 11 AM. The public will be able to sample and vote people’s choice until 2 PM. Winners will be announced at 3:00 PM.
Salsas must be made with all fresh ingredients; no canned ingredients allowed. All types of salsa (raw, cooked, and specialty (non-tomato type) salsas are allowed. Limited to 20 entries to avoid taste-bud burnout in the fiery judging process – entries on first come/first served basis. Maximum of 3 (1 quart) salsas per person. Please label lid and jar with name and hot or mild.
