National Everybody Eats Week

Today food insecurity affects more than 40 million individuals in the United States. This means 1 in 8 households have difficulty providing enough food for all members.
#NationalEverybodyEatsWeek is a nationally coordinated campaign dedicated to building community, ensuring food security and dignity for all and helping consumers understand the power they have in ending hunger in their neighborhood.

Food Security Champions
In honor of National Everybody Eats Week, One Bistro invites you to be a “Food Security Champion!" You can support the work One Bistro is doing; bringing awareness to and combatting food insecurity in our community. You do not have to be in the café or serve to be listed as a “Food Security Champion”. Your sponsorship will inspire the community to participate in NEEW.
One Bistro’s Food Security Champions care deeply about their community and are willing to lend their name and a financial gift of $1000 to help fight food insecurity.

Pay-it-forward Match
In honor of National Everybody Eats Week, One Bistro invites you to become a “Pay-it-Forward Matcher” for the day in order to support the work One Bistro is doing; bringing awareness to and combatting food insecurity in our community.
The “Pay-it-Forward Matcher” pledges to match all Pay-it-Forwards made to One Bistro for one day during NEEW at a minimum amount of $350. You may set a maximum amount at whatever you are most comfortable with.

Our favorite artist from New Hope, Texas, Ted Cantrell, has created two beautiful crosses which we will raffle off to our Food Security Champions and Pay It Forward Matchers on Saturday, August 28th. These 15" x 23" crosses are made from ribbon wire taken from Ted's grandfather's farm.
Ted's inspiration: "Colossians 2:14 says that God nailed our sin to the cross. Jesus paid the price for our sin."

Miami Valley Bike Trails
All Roads Lead to One Bistro...

The Miami Valley (and Xenia in particular) has an amazing system of bike trails. No matter which way you bike into Xenia, you are just minutes away from One Bistro. So stop on in and have a bite on your way through!

On Friday, August 27th, One Bistro will be open for a very special reservation only dinner celebrating National Everybody Eats Week. We will have two reservation times: 5:30 & 7:00

One Bistro is a non-profit so it is essentially owned by the community at large. If you are a part of this community, YOU have ownership in One Bistro.
