An Important Message from Your Chamber

Dear Chamber Members and Friends,

“Change” seems to be the word of the day. From personal to business, all of us are taking necessary precautions to protect our businesses and employees, our families and ourselves. Here at the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce, Donna and I are also implementing some changes and we want you to know that we will continue to serve you and our community, be it in the office or from home. At times that we are working remotely we will always be monitoring our emails and the office phone, so please send and leave us messages.

One of those changes is that the conference room in the basement of the chamber office will not be available for meetings until the end of April. We recognize that this causes a great inconvenience for the small groups who gather there on a regular basis, but we feel this needs to be done to protect the health and safety of all of the individuals who might gather there.

We at the Chamber will do our best to keep you informed and will continue to work with Greene County Public Health to post their newest coronavirus information on our website as well as information you, our chamber members, send to us by email.

We always strongly encourage supporting our local businesses and this is a crucial time to remember to shop local. This will help our local businesses be able to keep their doors open and viable here in our Xenia Community and will keep many of our friends and neighbors employed. Our local restaurants are adapting to a carry-out only and/or delivery service and our grocery stores are hard at work trying to procure our daily needs.

Several Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce events have been cancelled or postponed and we want you to be aware of them.

March 18       Xenia Job Fair - cancelled
March 19       Women in Business - cancelled
(We will be in contact with those of you who have already purchased tickets)
April 1            Greene County Safety Council - cancelled
April 9            Business After Hours - cancelled

Always continue to keep an eye on our website, www.xacc.com, where we will be posting any additional updates as we get them.

We appreciate your support and we hope that you stay informed, stay healthy, support your neighbors and shop local!
