Dragons 20th Season Celebration Game On Sale Now!

LET’S START OUT THE TWENTIETH SEASON WITH A CELEBRATION GAME

Yes … it’s hard to believe, but this season marks the Dragons 20th season in downtown Dayton.  I guess they are right: time flies when you are having fun.

We came up with an idea to start the season with a bang!  And what better way to usher in the 20th season than with a celebration game.  So, we are excited to provide the opportunity for all Dragons fans to attend the “Dayton Dragons 20th Season Celebration Game” to be held at Fifth Third Field, on Saturday, March 30th, at 2pm.

The first game of the season won’t be the Dragons versus a Midwest League opponent; rather, we have worked with the Cincinnati Reds to form a roster of former Dragons Alumni that are still playing in the Reds minor league system.

TEAM 20 vs. DRAGONS ALUMNI
“Team 20” (this season’s Dayton Dragons team) will square off against the “Dragons Alumni” team.  The players will wear specially designed uniforms.  These game-worn jerseys will be autographed after the game and will be available for a post-game auction.  Replicas will be made available for sale in the Dragons Den team store.  Plus, every fan attending the game will receive a Dragons commemorative 20th season print.

The Alumni team is scheduled to include many of your favorite former Dragons players from previous seasons, such as Jose Siri, Hunter Greene, Taylor Trammell, Tyler Stephenson, Jonathan India, TJ Friedl, Aaron Fossas, Tony Santillan, and Packy Naughton (players appearing are subject to change).
