Youth Theatre Summer Camp Info

Everyone complains that there is “nothing to do” in Xenia for kids.  Well we’re calling out that sentiment as a lie!!!  Here is something great for them!  It’s fun.  It’s educational! And it’s a great way to develop some lifelong friends and interests.

X*ACT’s 2018 Summer Theatre Camp and Summer Art Camp are registering students now.

This Summer’s Camp production will be “If the Grinch stole Christmas … who stole spring?,” an original production by Camp Coordinator Rachel Roebuck-Howard.  Camp will be held mornings from July 9 to 20.

Theatre Camp 

July 9 - 20 Only $75

Whether you are a novice or a seasoned performer, you’ll enjoy our two week Theatre Camp. We will cover all aspects of stage performance from auditioning to costuming. Camp runs half-days (8:30 am to 12 noon) M - F, with Performances for family and friends the weekend of July 20 - 22. The camp is open to all students between 3rd and 12th grade. Cost is only $75 and includes a Camp T-shirt. 

Art Camp

July 23 - 27 Only $40

Our Art Camp provides campers with a variety of experiences that will both entertain and educate them. During each of the 5 half-day sessions participants will be presented with a different activity or two. Activities will include both two and three dimensional art such as drawing, painting, photography, sculpting, and mosaics, taught by one of our resident artists. The Art Camp runs 9 am to 12 noon M - F, and ends with an Exhibition of the students’ artwork on July 27. The camp is open to all students between 3rd and 12th grade. Cost is only $40 and includes a T-shirt.
