The first sixteen Turkey Shoots have generated over $100,000 in donations. The proceeds are given to GROCERYLAND who then distributes vouchers for complete Thanksgiving dinners to the FISH Pantry. These vouchers feed:

  • 200 families with five or more members
  • 50 Veterans and their families

In addition, VISX (Volunteers in Service for Xenia) serves Thanksgiving dinners at the Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center. This feeds:

  • Over 700 dinners to the community
  • Dinners to shut-ins

The Turkey Shoot donation has provided all the food for these dinners for the past fifteen years. All of this was made possible by the generous help of golfers, hole sponsors, raffle prize donations, and cash donations.

We hope to make the 17th annual Turkey Shoot bigger and better than ever. Can we count on your help? You may assist in any of the following ways:

  • Sign up to play! For a $55 donation, you receive golf, cart and a tee prize. You also get all the burgers, hot dogs, chili, coffee, hot chocolate and pop you can eat and drink. PLUS, there is a contest on every hole.
  • Be a Hole Sponsor for $65. Deadline for Hole Sponsors is October 1, 2017.
  • Donate prizes for our raffle
  • Can’t play golf on October 7th or golf just isn’t your sport? All donations are greatly appreciated!
