BWC Has a New-Look Website To Make It Easier to Navigate

BWC's new-look website at bwc.ohio.gov is now live! Once you’ve gotten used to the layout, we hope you will find it much easier to access the information you need.

“Our redesigned site provides a dynamic look and feel, more intuitive navigation menus, and hopefully a better overall experience for you, our employer customers,” said BWC Administrator/CEO Stephanie McCloud.

So you can more easily navigate, we designed this handy tool to guide you to our 50 most-visited pages, 21 of which are employer-specific. The document shows how a user would navigate to a page on our old website and what new clicks are required for navigation to that same page on our new site.

Essentially, clicking the “For Employers” tab on the front page will take you to a landing page tailored specifically to your needs.

You will find our functional offerings (claim documents, First Report of Injury forms, etc.) are not affected in any way by this redesign. They can still be found in the same locations with the same look and feel. Elsewhere, you’ll see our informational content has not been reworked or rewritten; we’ve just relocated it.

Featured information is now front and center on our home page along with videos, a carousel of articles, and the landing pages I mentioned for particular customers, such as employers and injured workers. Also, the new site allows us to highlight new information more quickly.

“While this effort is not the complete overhaul we contemplated before COVID-19, we are very excited about moving forward with these improvements,” Administrator McCloud said.

You may call our Customer Contact Center from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for help finding what you need or if you have questions about general website navigation. After dialing (800) 644-6292, just hit option 6 from the main menu.

We’re always looking to improve your BWC experience and make your busy lives easier.
