Statue of Limitation Changes Due to COVID-19

On March 27, 2020, Ohio Governor DeWine signed into law House Bill 197, which tolls the statute of limitations for any administrative action or proceeding set to expire between March 9, 2020, and July 30, 2020. The bill applies retroactively to the date of the emergency declared by Executive Order 2020-01D, issued on March 9, 2020, and expires on the date the period of emergency ends or July 30, 2020, whichever is sooner.

Hunter Consulting Office CLOSED for Good Friday

The Hunter Consulting office has been open and will continue to operate normal business hours through the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are dedicated to serve our clients through these uncertain times.

However, we will be closed Good Friday, April 10th.  We will resume normal business hours on Monday, April 12.

If you have immediate needs, please contact us before close of business Thursday, April 9th.

SharedWork Ohio is a voluntary layoff aversion program. It allows workers to remain employed and employers to retain trained staff during times of reduced business activity. Under a SharedWork Ohio plan, the participating employer reduces affected employees' hours in a uniform manner. The participating employee works the reduced hours each week, and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) provides eligible individuals an unemployment compensation benefit proportionate to their reduced hours.
