Greene County Parks & Trails Annual Pancakes in the Park Breakfast

NEW LOCATION: Greene County Parks & Trails annual Pancakes in the Park Breakfast on March 2

Offering fresh, hot pancakes with all of the trimmings, Greene County Parks & Trails (GCP&T) is hosting its annual Pancakes in the Park Breakfast from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 2, at Russ Nature Reserve, 2380 Kemp Rd., Beavercreek.

The new location at Russ Nature Reserve will offer on-site tours featuring the history of maple sugaring and how it is produced.

Families will enjoy hot pancakes with ‘real’ maple syrup made at the Narrows Reserve Sugar Camp as well as sausage, milk, coffee, tea and juice.  Real maple syrup and maple candy will also be available for sale. An inside view of the current renovations at the Russ Nature Reserve multi-use venue center will also be offered.

Cost for the Greene County Parks & Trails Pancakes in the Park Breakfast is $5 for those five years old and up; free for under five.  The tour of the maple sugaring trail is included in the cost of the breakfast.
