Community Calendar

There will be a ribbon cutting and monument unveiling at the Legacy Village Memorial Garden, 1272 Moody Dr., on Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.  After five summers of work, the charming garden is finally ready for a formal opening. With the theme A Place of Healing, the dedication ceremony will feature speakers who will honor the original use of the site as a hospital for civil war orphans and laud its current use as a place of restoration for the spirit. Light refreshments will be served following the dedication.

Mayor Marsha Bayless, XACC President and CEO Alan Liming and other dignitaries will be present for the ceremony.
