Greene County Parks & Trails Offers Beekeeping Class

Greene County Parks & Trails offers second-year beekeeping class series

Learn how to improve your hive health and harvest honey at the second-year beekeeping class series offered by Greene County Parks & Trails from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Rd., Beavercreek.

This class is for those who their own hives or those who have already taken the beginning beekeeping class.

Questions will be answered from those with bee hives, provide additional information on healthier and more productive hives as well as discuss harvesting the honey.

Cost for the series is $40 (Greene County resident); and $50 (non-resident). Pre-registration is required and must be made no later than Friday, Jan. 12.
