Learn about eagles in Ohio with Greene County Parks & Trails and how the species has come back from the brink of extinction, their nesting habits, diet, number of young and counties with nesting eagles at 7:30 p.m., Monday, July 3, at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Rd., Beavercreek.
Ohio currently has more than 200 nest pairs with several in the Miami Valley area. Bald eagles have been sighted near or within GCP&T’s Spring Lakes Park, Jacoby Canoe Launch and near Creekside Trail.
The program is free but donations are accepted.
