Member SummaryThe Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center is located at 130 E. Church Street, across the street from the YMCA. The Center was incorporated in 1968 and has a 10,000 square foot facility. Programs at the Center include daily recreational activities, trips, health and fitness activities and seminars, friendly visiting and telephone contacts, home-delivered meals, congregate meals, shopping assistance, assistance with Medicare, Part D and other benefits asistance and paperwork and transportation. In an average year, the Center delivers over 8,000 home-delivered meals to individuals who are unable to cook for themselves or routinely leave their homes; provides over 9,000 congregate meals, provides over 14,000 outreach, educational and recreational activities and drives approximately 135,000 miles each year. The Center has 11 vehicles, all of which are wheel-chair equipped. A monthly newsletter can be sent to prospective members (age 50+) or interested businesses.
