Join us for our 3rd annual 5k Walk/Run for Interfaith Hospitality Network, the Greene County Homeless Shelter.  The walk is June 1 and registration starts at 7:30 AM at the Xenia Hub.  The walk/run starts promptly at 9 AM and will proceed on the bike path south towards Spring Valley.  Prizes will be awarded for six categories and the top male and female.  Registration before May 29 for adults is $25 and kids 10 and under is $10.

Greene CATS, Greene County’s public transit service, invites the public to celebrate another milestone of our organization at the ribbon cutting of our first bus shelter on Thursday, October 25.  Recently installed at the Xenia Towne Square next to K-Mart on R & B Investment Properties, the shelter will provide a covered space where riders can wait to make connections.

Race Route:  The starting point is at the Xenia Station Hub, 150 Miami Avenue, Xenia, and will proceed through the Bullskin Trace Neighborhood, Xenia Christian/Athletes in Action Campus, and back to the Xenia Hub.

On March 29, Café Ole will host its long-awaited grand opening event at the restaurant, 131 N. Allison Ave., Xenia.

A gala ribbon-cutting ceremony begins at 11:30 Thursday. Mayor Marsha Bayless, XACC President Alan Liming and other local officials will assist in the event.

Specializing in classic American fare, Café Ole’ is an exclusive dining venue new to the Dayton area. Lunch and dinner specials are paired with a full service bar to cater to the professional crowd looking for a place to unwind with fine food, drinks and upscale entertainment.

City notables and grease monkeys came together with scissors in hand on Thursday, June 23, as Select Auto Repair held a ribbon cutting ceremony at its new Cincinnati Avenue location.
