2010 The Year in Review
The public is invited to attend a meeting planning the future of the Xenia Farmers’ Market on Tuesday, March 15th at 5:30 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office, 100 Fairground Road, Xenia. Christie Welch, a Farmers’ Market Marketing Specialist with the OSU Extension Office, is conducting a survey to assist the City and a newly forming Farmers’ Market Committee to improve the Farmers’ Market in Xenia.

The Xenia Board of Education invites the Xenia community to become involved in the construction of the new Xenia Community Schools. The five-building, 54 million dollar construction project offers multiple opportunities for local participation. The Community Outreach Program is designed to inform and educate residents, small businesses, and vendors in the area on how they can participate in the construction project.
The Old Fashioned Days Festival will be taking place in 2011 with a couple of changes. The festival will now be called the Xenia Community Festival and the festival is moving back downtown!

There will be plenty of birthday cheer and savings on Friday, March 4, and Saturday, March 5, as Blue Jacket Books, 60 S. Detroit St., and C.J.’s Boutique, 72 S. Detroit St., celebrates five years of serving the Xenia community.

Building business relationships while enjoying each other’s company, the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce (XACC) recently held its monthly Business After Hours at the Xenia YMCA located at 135 E. Church St.
