Toward Independence Plans Grand Reopening Celebration December 6


On December 6, 2012, local nonprofit Toward Independence (TI) will host a grand reopening celebration at its 81 E. Main Street office building. This event is the culmination of many years of working toward the achievement of complete restoration of its façade for both its 81 and 87 E. Main Street locations in historical style, and the total renovation of the lower level of its office building to accommodate its popular and rapidly growing Creative Community Connections (CCC) habilitation program.

The American Red Cross continues daily to increase its enormous relief operation, providing food, shelter, supplies and comfort to more and more people affected by Superstorm Sandy.

Chamber Members Save on Cooking Show Tickets

The Xenia Daily Gazette is sponsoring a Taste of Home Cooking Show and Expo on Thursday, November 15th at the Schindler Center in Xenia. There are over 20 exhibitors signed up for the expo that will be from 4 to 7 pm, with the nationally-known Taste of Home Cooking show to start at 7 pm. Reserved seating tickets are now $10 for XACC members.
