When Severe Weather Strikes, More People Turn to News Center 7

WHIO-TV proved that adage once again on Wednesday, May 25th when it provided more than 8 hours of continuous coverage as tornadoes tossed hail the size of baseballs across the region.  At the height of the storm, WHIO had a 29.5 rating and 45 share on its combined digital channels, and its prime time weather coverage was watched by more people the competing finale of American Idol.  Thousands more listened from their cars or their shelters to the simulcast on AM1290 and FM 95.7 News Talk Radio WHIO.

35th Annual XACC Spring Golf Outing

On May 25th, the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce held its 35th Annual Spring Golf Outing at WGC Golf Course.  This event is much anticipated by Chamber members and this year a record was set in the number of sponsorships. Dedicated players waited out the late morning rain and were rewarded with a perfect day to be on the golf course. The Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce wants to sincerely thank its membership for the support that was given to put this event together.
