We Care Arts Invites You to a Garden Party

The client/artists of We Care Arts would like to invite everyone to come and buy their flowers and have them planted in one of their hand decorated flower pots.  Knollwood Garden center will be donating a variety of flowers than can be purchased, volunteers  will be planting the flowers and our clients will be painting the pots. All this will make a wonderful spring gift for that special person in your life.

Join the Walk for Independence


Nonprofit agency Toward Independence, Inc. (TI) is busy gearing up for its 11th annual Walk for Independence, the agency’s primary fundraising and public awareness event to benefit men, women, and children with developmental disabilities such as autism, Downs syndrome, cerebral palsy. Last year’s event raised over $21,000 and helped to meet needs like clothing, furniture, shoes, medical and dental items, safety and mobility equipment, accessible vehicles for transportation, and more. Over the last decade, the Walk has generated over $220,000 to meet such needs.

XAYP To Host Corn Hole Tournament

The Xenia Area Young Professionals (XAYP) will host a Corn Hole Tournament on Friday, May 3rd at Willies Bar and Grill, 124 Xenia Towne Square.  The tournament will start at 6 PM, with registration beginning at 5 PM. Chamber Ribbon Cutting at X*ACT

 

 

Join the Chamber to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the new X*ACT Arts Center Gallery at 7:30 pm Friday,  May 3 during First Friday in downtown Xenia. XACC President and CEO Alan Liming, XACC Board Chair Jim Saner and Xenia Mayor Marsha Bayless will assist in the event. X*ACT events from 4:30 to 8:30 include live music by Blusion and Alli King, door prizes, refreshments and a performance of the short comedy I'm Herbert.
