This seminar is being put on for Group Rating member companies and for companies who had a workers’ comp claim in either 2011 or 2012. This seminar meets the requirements of the 2-hour training requirement for employers who are required to attend a 2-hour safety training class who had a claim in either 2011 or 2012. The Focus on Our Youth Expo will be held March 9, 2013 from 10am to 2pm at the Xenia Community Center, located at 1265 West Second Street in Xenia. The Expo, hosted by xeniayouth.com and sponsored by Better Images Portrait Studio, will be open and free to public. Parents, students, educators, and community leaders are encouraged to attend.

The 64th Annual XACC Awards Dinner at Greene County Fairgrounds Assembly Hall on February 23 was a joyous but touching event that included father-daughter award-winners from a distinguished Xenia business and the unveiling of a new Chamber award honoring a former Chamber president.

The March 7 Women in Business Luncheon features a speaker who turned an exercise she heard about at a Weight Watchers meeting into a successful career. Lifetime Xenia resident and licensed Zumba instructor Tiffany Bradley shares her journey to good health and excellence at the Luncheon from 11:30 to 1 pm at the Xenia YMCA.

Chamber members enjoyed a classy Valentine's Day celebration at Business After Hours hosted by Elmcroft Senior Living. They networked and enjoyed fabulous food from the Elmcroft staff and desserts by Sweets Boutique around an ice sculpture and bistro tables covered with rose petals.
