XAYP Corn Hole Tournament Registration Form  |
The Xenia Area Young Professionals (XAYP) will host a Corn Hole Tournament on Thursday, June 21st at All Sports Bar and Grill, 124 Xenia Towne Square. The tournament, which will start approximately at 5:30pm, will be a 32-team, one-game, double-elimination format on the patio at All Sports. Cost will be $20 per team and your entry fee will include snacks as well as food and drink specials, courtesy of All Sports.
Registration must be completed and paid in full in order to be considered a valid entrant into the tournament. Registrations can be turned in and paid at the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce, 334 W. The XAYP is a group developed by the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce for professionals age 40 and under. Its goal is to provide members with networking, community involvement, social events, education and professional development.
XAYP offers quarterly networking events at local restaurants. Members are encouraged to bring business acquaintances and friends. It's a great way to start meeting other professionals in the community, learn about community events and issues, and become active within the organization. XAYP also offers organization volunteer days and updated lists of volunteer opportunities within the community. Ohio Incumbent Workforce Training Voucher Program |
We have learned that the new Ohio Incumbent Worker Training Voucher Program will be announced sometime within the next 30 days (we were told by JobsOhio West that unfortunately there are no specific release dates at this time). This program is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE; there will be $20M available throughout the state in FY 13 and $30M available in FY 14. There is a cap of $4k per employee and $500k per federal tax ID #.
Companies will use the Ohio Means Jobs website: https://ohiomeansjobs.com/omj/ to register for the program. For this particular program, a company will have to fill out an application online; there will not be an option to upload a spread sheet or other documents. As you will read in the attached document, there are certain requirements for an employer and employee to be eligible for the program.
If you choose to pursue the program, the most important thing you can do at this time is gather and prepare all the information on the second page of the attached document, which details application requirements. We will make sure that you learn when the online, web-based application is available for you to fill out.
