GCCOA 2013 SeniorPalooza |
We hope you will take a few minutes to read through the attached flyer for the May 22nd SeniorPalooza, a "fun festival for the 50+ crowd". The event is open to all and, with the exception of the box lunches that will be available from 11:30am to 12:15pm, the event is free.
You are invited to join us for all or any part of the day. We will kick off the day with a 5K walk/run/roll from the Fairground Recreation Center next to the Fairgrounds and you can walk/run/roll as far as you would like. A tee shirt will be provided to those who participate and we will have refreshments available when you return.
The rest of the activities start at 10am in the Greene County Fairground's Assembly Building and go through 3pm. We have quite a mix for you to choose from. We will have all the supplies you need to make a unique terrarium; a variety of games will set-up to enjoy; a number of resource and displays will be open to check out; and Chef Joel of Kroger Marketplace in Beavercreek will be preparing some interesting and tasty 'bites' for us to try.
There will also be three sessions for you to take in as an audience member or join as a participant ~ "Be a Musician for an Hour" with Brannon Hancock, Steve Benson and a few others; "A Bit of Tai Chi" with David Wilcox; and the "Trivia Extravaganza" with Monty "Duteil" Hall!
The purpose of the SeniorPalooza is to celebrate being a Greene County adult by promoting the Keys to Successful Living which guide the work of the Council ~ humor, relationships, physical health, spirituality, lifelong learning, and attitude.
The registration form is also included and the full event booklet can be requested. And while registration is not required, your registration will assist us in the planning of supplies, boxed lunches, door prizes, and set-up.
We encourage you to pass this information on to anyone who might be interested and available and we hope to see you on the 22nd!

"X" Mark's Your Spot! - Xenia Athletic Department Tradition Project |
"X" Mark's Your Spot! The Xenia High School Athletic Department is proud to offer you a unique opportunity to have your name placed in XHS history. Customizable ceramic 12"x12" wall tiles will be offered and permanently displayed in the XHS gym lobbies. Your tile can be personal, or commercial in nature.
Please see the attached brochure and information on the project. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, or to request of a hardcopy brochure. Also, please forward this email and attachment to any XHS alumni, athlete, or supporter who may be interested.
