| Description: | Digital camera training offered by Greene County Parks & Trails at upcoming special events Become a Greene County Parks & Trails Shutterbug and sharpen your digital camera skills while attending programs at several park locations. Photographers should meet at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, at Creekside Reserve, Beavercreek. Participants will need to park at the Girl Scout Memorial Park on Factory Road in Beavercreek, with the program focusing on butterflies and prairie flowers. Shutterbugs will also be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, at Indian Mound Reserve, Cedarville, with photographers capturing autumn hues. Other shutterbug sessions will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, Narrows Reserve Nature Center, Beavercreek, with techniques on shading, contrast and black and white images reviewed; 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, Sara Arnovitz Preserve, Kinsey Road, Xenia, to photograph winter frost and winter scenes. Local photographer John Sheehan will share techniques on capturing the best possible images on film. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $10 (resident); $12, (non-resident), per session.
