| Description: | Greene County Parks & Trails offer evening fishing derby at Spring Lakes Park Join Greene County Parks & Trails for an evening fishing derby from 7 to 9:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 26, at Spring Lakes Park, 2191 Ferry Rd., Bellbrook. All anglers need to be 14 years and older. Prizes will be awarded from biggest fish (bass or bluegill); most creative bait and more fish over four inches caught. Participants in the catch-and-release derby are not required to have a Spring Lakes permit for this event. Fisherman planning to keep fish caught during the derby or outside the derby hours will require a permit. The Bait House will be open for bait and fishing supplies; a suggested donation of $2 per fisherman is requested to help stock the pond.
