| Description: | Greene County Parks & Trails Hosts "Campfire Tales and S'mores" at Crooked Creek Nature Sanctuary Join Greene County Parks & Trails for campfire tales and s'mores at Crooked Creek Nature Sanctuary, 2565 Spahr Rd., Xenia, beginning at 7 p.m., Sunday, May 27. Guests will enjoy a summer evening around the campfire to listen to tall tales and enjoy some old-fashioned s'mores treats. Participants should bring their own lawn chairs. "Crooked Creek Nature Sanctuary is not open to the public," says Greene County Parks & Trails Chief Naturalist Cris Barnett. "This a wonderful opportunity to view this unique piece of property while enjoying a summer evening at the campfire adjacent to the cabin, which was constructed years ago using recycled telephone poles."
