| Description: | The Xenia Scouts are a youth and collegiate baseball club located here in Xenia. Youth select teams currently range from ages 8u to 16u, and are comprised of local players and coaches. The Scouts collegiate team is a non-profit amateur baseball organization in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League (GLSCL) that is funded in part by Major League Baseball. The GLSCL is a wood bat league that exposes collegiate baseball players to Major League Baseball scouts and college coaches throughout a 44-game summer schedule played throughout June and July. Players are made up of all college eligible players from all across the country. In past seasons the Scouts have had players from up to 12 different states on a team. Xenia Scouts home games are played at Grady's Field, located on 1197 S. Detroit Street in Xenia, OH at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex, right across from Emmanuel Baptist Church.
