XACC Nominating Committee Recommendations

The Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has approved for submission to the Chamber Membership a slate of five candidates presented by the Nominating Committee to fill Directors' seats.  We appreciate the nominees' willingness to serve. The following are those individuals nominated to fill the positions:

Todd McManus – Dr. Todd McManus, OD and Associates
Dave Walton – Old Fort Bank
Jim Froehlich – Scaparotti Construction Group
Tim Coleman – Athletes in Action

The following three individuals are being recommended for a 2nd 3-year term beginning on January 1, 2013:
Denise Davis – 3F Coaching
Lew Gibbs – Individual Member
Brian Stephan – Wichman, Newell & Stephan

The following individual is being recommended to fulfill the final 2 years of a retired board position effective January 1, 2013:
Jim Preston – Hillside Assisted Living

Additional names of candidates for the Board of Directors may be nominated by petition bearing the genuine signatures of at least twenty (20) voting members of the Chamber.  Such petitions shall be filed within ten (10) days from the date of the posting of this notification.  Should a petition be received by 5:00 p.m., November 9, 2012 and deemed legal by the Nominating Committee, a general election by the full membership will be arranged.

If no petition is filed within the designated period, the nominations will be closed, and the nominated slate shall be declared elected by the Board of Directors during the November 2012 meeting.
