SCORE, in conjunction with the CoxMedia Group, Ohio, launches its fall “Simple Steps to Small Business Success Workshop Series”

The Dayton SCORE Chapter of the national “Service Core of Retired Executives” is launching its fall ”Simple Steps to Small Business Success” workshop and group counseling series. This popular series presents three tracks of proven curriculum designed to empower Miami Valley businesses to succeed in today’s dynamic business environment. Here are three simple steps to helping Dayton area business owners harness success in the midst of all of the chaos.  

First Step: Attend a Free Information and Assessment Session 

Attend one of three, identical FREE assessment seminars at your convenience.  This two hour interactive session will provide some surprising marketplace perspective, help you to realistically identify your current business situation and guide you in selecting the success series that will have the greatest impact on your business.

Free Session 1: Date: Thursday, Sept 20, 2012                  Time: 8:30 to 12:00 Noon

Second Step: Attend the Applicable, Paid Series (Ask about discounts)

Each series delivers knowledge, skill, strategies and resources designed to help businesses succeed regardless of current situation. For a nominal series fee ($125.), each attendee is provided with valuable resources and assigned a SCORE counselor to help them navigate the course and free follow-up counseling to help implement the program material in their business.

Paid Track 1: DREAM of starting a business? Simple Steps to Business Start-up

This track is designed for budding entrepreneurs that have dreams of starting their own for-profit business or non-profit organization. This program starts with a free introduction session that is included with the assessment session outlined above. The other four paid sessions are held at the Entrepreneur Center in downtown Dayton.

Paid Track 2: NEED to stabilize your business? Simple Steps to Business Recovery

This highly successful series of four group counseling sessions is designed for existing business owners that need to stabilize and recover a struggling business. This series focuses on identifying key challenges (problems and needs) that are impacting the business and discovering proven solutions that can support a tactical business recovery plan.

      Time: 6:00PM to 8:30PM each session

Paid Track 3: WANT to expand your business? Simple Steps to Business Growth

This highly successful series of four group counseling sessions is designed for existing business owners that want to grow or expand a successful business. This series focuses on identifying key challenges (needs and opportunities) that are impacting the business and discovering proven solutions that can support a strategic business growth plan.

Third Step: Implement Your Workshop Strategies

Assigned SCORE counselors that are aligned with your business size, scope and type will help you navigate the workshop or counseling sessions and provide free follow-up counseling to ensure a positive learning experience and a solid return on your investment.

The Dayton SCORE chapter has over 50 motivated active or retired executives with years of life/work experience. Through proven processes and business models, they integrate this experience with counseling, education and resources and other services to help businesses of all types, sizes and situations harness success.
