XAYP To Host Bike Rodeo As Part of 2012 Xenia Community Festival

The Xenia Area Young Professionals (XAYP), in conjunction with the Greene County Parks and K&G Bike Center, are sponsoring a bicycle rodeo on Saturday, September 15th from 11am to 2pm for all children under the age of 16 on Greene Street, behind the Greene County Courthouse, as part of the Xenia Community Festival.
The rodeo is designed for children to learn about bike safety and to enhance their bicycling skills through a variety of skill stations and a free safety inspection.
Thanks to the sponsors of the event, Greene County Safety Council, DP&L, Greene Memorial Hospital, and K&G Bike Center, free bike helmets will be given to the first 125 kids to complete the course.
Permission slips will be required so all participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For more information, call the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce at 372-3591.
