How far is five kilometers?

5K is 3.1 miles.

What do I get for my entry fee?

All pre-registered walk/run participants will receive a 5K T-shirt, (one shirt per registered walker while supplies last) post-race refreshments.

Restroom facilities will be provided at IHS Pharmacy 100 N. Detroit St.

Will there be on-site/race-day registration?

Yes, late registration is available on-site on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. T-shirts cannot be guaranteed to participants registering late.

Can I run the course?

Yes, both walkers and runners are welcome.

Can I push a stroller?

For safety reasons on the course, walkers and runners with strollers are asked to stay to the right. For safety reasons, children younger than 7 years old are not permitted on the 5K course.

Can I bring my dog?

For safety reasons, no pets will be allowed at the event.

Are roller blades or bikes allowed on the course?

For safety reasons, roller blades or bicycles will not be permitted on the course.

What is the weather cancellation/refund policy?

All attempts will be made to continue with the run/walk unless there is active lighting or the City of Xenia closes the course. All proceeds from registration for the 5K Run/Walk is to benefit the IHS Wellness Program and Charities and will be considered a donation; therefore, there will be no refunds.
