GCCC to Host Career Camp
Greene County Career Center will host a career exploration camp for high school freshmen and sophomores that will feature hands-on activities in a wide range of career areas. The one-day camp will be held on August 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school’s West Enon Road campus.
The free event will allow students entering ninth and tenth grades the opportunity to gain experiences that may influence their career path. Careers being covered at this event include auto collision repair, carpentry , criminal justice, biotechnology, culinary arts, hospitality, electrical wiring, health care, information technology, marketing and welding. All sessions will be taught by fully-certified Greene County Career Center instructors.
All campers will receive free t-shirt and lunch will be provided.
