XACC Supports the Xenia Community Schools' Levy
The Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce (XACC) believes that the vitality of the community is tied to the success of its various components; these include retail and industry viability, the value of recreation and livability and the importance of education to our constituents and future. To that end, the Chamber's Board of Directors unanimously supports the 1.5% Earned Income Tax Replacement Levy being placed on the August 7th ballot by Xenia Community Schools. In these economically challenging times, the education of our youth remains a priority for sustained quality of life. The XACC Board asks voters to study the specifics of the issue, such as the funding conditions for schools in Ohio, and the due diligence that has been demonstrated by the leaders of Xenia Community Schools in being good stewards for the community.
