Hall of Famer To Speak at June Women in Business Luncheon

As an appropriate follow-up to the XACC Spring Golf Outing, the Women in Business Luncheon will feature golfer Diana Schwab on Thursday, June 7. The Luncheon will begin at 11:30 at the Xenia YMCA.

Diana Schwab is a member of the Dayton Amateur Golf Hall of Fame, the Ohio High School Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame, and the Fairborn Schools Hall of Honor.  She has been a medalist in many golf championships.  She has coached field hockey, basketball, softball, volleyball, tennis, and-- of course-- golf at Fairmont High School.

Schwab has served on a number of golf committees on the state and regional level and as a golfing rules official. She was recognized as a state legend by Golfweek magazine in March 2002. At the Luncheon Schwab will discuss her journey to becoming an athlete, educator and leader.

You do not have to be a Chamber member to attend the Women in Business Luncheon. Guests can attend twice before making a decision about joining. However, you must register by the Tuesday before each meeting by calling or emailing Carole at the Chamber: 372-3591 or carole@xacc.com.

The Women in Business Luncheon is held the first Thursday of every month at 11:30 for lunch at the YMCA, 135 E. Church St. in Xenia. The luncheon will be buffet style and is $12.
