Phase V of the Street Banner Program is Underway

In 2009, the Board for Recreation, Arts and Cultural Activities (BRACA) developed the Street Pole Banner Sponsorship Program. The program has been a HUGE success! If you’ve driven downtown recently, you can see the banners on display. BRACA is now offering the next installment of the Street
Pole Banner Sponsorship Program. These banners will be displayed in the newly improved Shawnee Park and in the downtown area.

BRACA has received a lot of positive feedback from members of Council and the community since the banners from the previous phases were installed. BRACA is offering this sponsorship program to individuals, for profit and non-profit groups, and organizations.

By sponsoring a banner, you will help achieve the goal of creating a beautiful streetscape. You will be acknowledged and recognized at the bottom of the banner (if you so desire), on the city's website, and on the City’s government channel 5. All banner purchases are tax deductible.

You will find a sponsorship application and copy of the guidelines on the City’s website, www.ci.xenia.oh.us. Application forms and payment should be returned by June 15th to the Secretary of the City Manager’s Office on the First Floor of City Hall or they can be mailed to the City of Xenia, Street Pole Banner Sponsorship Program, 101 N. Detroit Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385.
