We Care Arts Annual Auction - "Green is Good"

Dear Business Partner,

You know us, We Care Arts; we change disabilities into possibilities through ART.  We know you, too, because you are one of the leading businesses in our community!

It is almost time for our Annual Auction, scheduled for Friday March 16, 2012 at the Hope Hotel. This year our theme is “Green is Good” and we’re so excited that local celebrity Jim Boucher from Channel 2 has agreed to emcee the event for us. Our auction has an attendance of 250 to 300 persons.

The money we raise at this important fundraiser goes right back to the people with whom we work; adults and children living with physical and developmental disabilities, managing mental illnesses, or recovering from an acquired brain injury.  More often than not, they come to us feeling lost and without purpose.

When our clients arrive at We Care Arts, they are treated with dignity and love, and begin to feel better about themselves.  They find an accepting and safe community here where they can tune in to their creativity and learn to create beautiful and useful pieces of art with staff, volunteers and peers. They begin to feel independent and successful when they earn money as their work is purchased in our gift shop.

We need your help to continue to support their recovery and growth at We Care Arts.  The benefits of our programming ripple through the community, as clients grow stronger and become productive, participating members of society.

Here’s how you can be part of the 2012 Auction and make a real difference for hundreds of people with disabilities:

• Sponsor our activities at various levels.
• Donate merchandise or a service we can offer as an auction item.  When you donate any item for the auction, your business will be listed in the program as a supporter of We Care Arts and the people we serve. 
• Or, you can place an advertisement in the program; Business card - $50, ½ page - $100, Full page - $200
