XACC Business After Hours at J. Michael Joly Homes in Conjunction with Ruth and Gordy Caudill of Real Living Realty
Building business relationships while enjoying each other's company, the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce (XACC) recently held its monthly Business After Hours at a model home in Fairmoor Heights.
During the afternoon event, guests enjoyed a catered summer meal from Nick's Restaurant in Xenia that featured pulled pork sandwiches, cole slaw, fresh fruit, gourmet brownies and a wide selection of soft drinks, as well as an open bar of Bloody Marys, wine and Margaritas.
Tours of the model home built by J. Michael Joly were offered to all guests during the networking event.
The Partners in Education Split-the-Pot raffle raised approximately $110 with half of the proceeds benefitting a scholarship fund for a Xenia High School graduate. Connie Paoliello of Greene County Metropolitan Housing Authority won the August drawing.

Door prizes were donated by chamber members and won by Steve Duelley (Security National Bank), Betty Hosta (Kil-Kare Raceway), Mayor Marsha Bayless, and Heidi Hilderbrandt (The Flower Stop).
A new chance to support Xenia merchants and win a variety of local products has been added to the Business After Hours event with the "Bucket to Basket" raffle that includes donations from XACC members. Every attendee of the Business After Hours events may submit one business card per event, which registers them to win the "Bucket to Basket" at the December 2010 Business After Hours. The Basket consists of gift cards, cash prizes, entertainment tickets, and much more with a value of $2,000.
The XACC Business After Hours is held the second Thursday of the month at various chamber member businesses or organizations. Attendance is free and open to all chamber members and their guests. Join us in September at Tiffany's Jewelers at 179 W. Main St., Xenia, OH.
