Kil-Kare Hosts July Business After Hours
Special thanks to Kil Kare Raceway, who hosted a fun-filled evening for the July Business After Hours! The weather was hot, but the company, food and drinks were great! Kil Kare Raceway has been a part of the Xenia community for years, located off Dayton-Xenia road, offering a dragway and speedway for racers to bring their vehicles.
Over the years, racers have brought their cars, vans, trucks, motorcycles, and more to race at Kil-Kare, establishing themselves as an exciting entertainment venue in the community. In addition to the race and dragway, Kil Kare hosts numerous events throughout the year other than races and even has event space through their Shelter House on their property. They host events such as banquets, wedding receptions, corporate functions, and more!

Door prizes sponsored by Flower Stop, Apple Country Farm Market, Nick's Restaurant, Young's, and Kil-Kare were given away to a lucky few guests. Dick Paoliello won the Split the Pot, and took away $35 in cash! Half the money received for Split the Pot is donated to the XACC/Partners In Education Scholarship Fund. See Chrissy at the registration table as you enter the next Business After Hours and receive one ticket for $1 or six tickets for $5 for the Split the Pot. You do not have to be present to win Split the Pot, which increases your chance of winning a cash prize!
Bucket to Basket is still a highlight of the Business After Hours. Every attendee of the BAH is requested to submit one business card per event into a large silver bucket, which registers them to win the prize basket at the December 2010 Business Afetr Hours. The basket consists of gift cards, cash prizes, entertainment tickets, and much more. The value of the basket is already over $2000! Rules are: you must attend Business After Hours in order to enter your business card, only one card per Business After Hours is permitted, and you must be present at the December event to win!
Business After Hours are always held on the second Thursday of the month to help solidify the unity of
businesses in the Xenia area, to expand your sphere of influence, and build relationships with other businessmen and women in the community.
The next Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, August 12, at a model home for J. Michael Jolly Homes & Gordy Caudill of Real Lving Realty. More information coming soon. If you have questions before the event, please feel free to contact Chrissy or Alan at the Chamber! (937) 372-3591. All photos courtesy of Sherri Mash Photography
