Information From Your Xenia YMCA

Here are a few reminders about events happening at Xenia's YMCA...

1.    Join us for our summer sports camps in July. The Xenia YMCA will be instructing a volleyball and basketball camp. The volleyball camp will run from July 19-July 23 from 9-11am and the basketball camp will run from July 26-30 from 9-11am. If you are interested in attending one or both of these camps, please stop in to the Xenia YMCA and fill out a registration form. The cost for each camp is $35.00 for members and $50 for non members. Each participant will receive a t-shirt.

2.    Want to make some money and support a great cause?  If your answer is yes, we encourage you to support the Xenia YMCA Rummage Sale Fundraiser July 16th & 17th from 9a – 4p!  Come as a buyer or seller.  Booth space is only $10 and you keep everything you make!  What a great way to get rid of some of those gently used items you’ve been holding on to!  Proceeds benefit the YMCAs Strong Kids Scholarship Fund and YMCA youth programs.  Call 937.376.9622 to reserve your spot or for more information.

3.    Community Open House at the Xenia YMCA Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  It’s your day to try the Y!  You’ll have the opportunity to try out the facility and participate in group exercise classes.  The facilities include a four-lane, twenty-yard swimming pool, Health Center that includes a sauna and whirlpool, indoor running/walking track, racquetball/handball courts, full gymnasium, and cardio and strength training equipment. Prize drawings throughout the entire day!
