Scholarship Winners are Announced

The Greene County College Success Partnership is pleased to announce this year’s scholarship winners.
Each year GCCSP, through a variety of partners, is able to award monies to deserving high school seniors throughout the Greene County Area. Money for the awards was donated through various sources. GCCSP would like to thank WBZI Radio, Greene County Community Foundation, who provided scholarship funds to honor Donna and David Luttrell, Mary Christine Small Memorial fund, John Peterangelo Memorial fund, Pauline Forsythe Memorial fund, Diane and Terry Tobey, Sharon and Denny Phillips, Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce Partnership in Education committee and the GCCSP Advisory Committee for their contribution to this effort. Scholarship winners were chosen based on their financial need as well as other outstanding circumstances. This year’s deserving scholarship awardees are: Teiherhah Clemons studying Pharmacy or Physical Training at Broward Community College in Florida, Amanda Smith studying Psychology at Wright State University, Marisa Smith studying Early Childhood Education at Wright State University, Matthew Green studying Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, Micara Lewis studying Psychology or Journalism at Wright State University, Aisha LeDent studying Nursing at Wright State University, Kalie Scanlan studying Education at Wright State University, Jennifer Humston studying Athletic Training at Wright State University, and Steven Mercer attending Wright State University with an undecided major. GCCSP would like to congratulate them on their recent accomplishments and wish them luck in their future studies.
